Do you have the right vehicle?
Our Woodland trailers are lighter than many others in its class, however, you'll still need the right tow vehicle. We recommend that your vehicle can tow 2,700-3,500 lbs depending on how full you pack it with food, water, clothes, and gear. Many small SUV/crossovers fit the bill, including (but not limited to) those below. Make sure that you have at least a Class II receiver hitch with 2" trailer ball that is ideally about 19" off the ground at its top (16-24" works) as well as a functioning 4-pin wire connector.
Acura MDX V6
Buick Enclave V6

Mitsubishi Outlander V6
Nissan Murano V6
Nissan Xterra V6
Subaru Outback V6
Toyota 4Runner V6

Of course, larger SUVs and trucks work too. To check your vehicle, we recommend Trailer Life's helpful web tool.
